The exhibition
Renaissance: From Art to Heart carried the masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance to Haixinsha Island in Guangzhou, China, reinterpreting them through digital tools for a broad and diverse audience. Co-produced by Crossmedia Group and Guangzhou Buona Arte Culture & Technology, with immersive video by Art Media Studio, the show framed the emotional and spiritual depth of Renaissance art as a multi-sensory experience. Visitors moved through VR, laser holographic projections and light-based installations that dissolved painting and sculpture into moving, luminous form. Staged on one of Guangzhou's signature riverside sites, it was the second of two international productions staged in China within a single year, arriving straight after the Klimt Experience in Shanghai and confirming how the immersive format could travel, scale and adapt to entirely new cultural contexts.

My contribution
Straight after the Klimt Experience in Shanghai, I took on this production as Project and Production Manager. I handled the full on-site coordination, managing the local team, logistics and equipment procurement, and integrating the immersive technologies within the venue on Haixinsha Island. Two international productions back to back, two cities in two months: each one taught me something the previous one couldn't about scaling a show across borders.
