The exhibition
Raffaello 2020 opened the international celebrations for the 500th anniversary of Raphael's death at La Permanente in Milan. Across five rooms, the multimedia exhibition traced the artist's life from his origins in Urbino to his triumph in Rome, weaving together visual storytelling, holograms, virtual reality and immersive projection to reintroduce one of the Renaissance's defining figures. Highlights included a Hologram Theatre where Raphael appeared alongside masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, a 360° immersive room in Dolby Surround, an interactive VR journey inside The Liberation of Saint Peter, augmented-reality areas and a scenographic reconstruction of Raphael's Roman workshop. Produced by Crossmedia Group with immersive video by the Milan-based studio WOA (WOA Creative Company), it framed the Renaissance master for a contemporary audience through the full vocabulary of immersive media.

My contribution
My involvement in Raffaello 2020 was limited. In 2019 I was primarily focused on the Latin American Da Vinci tour, and this was one of the projects running in parallel back in Italy. I provided logistical support during the setup phase alongside my colleague Giulia Raineri, who led the on-site production. My contribution centred on installation planning and practical support rather than day-to-day production management.
