The exhibition
Inside Dalí brings the surrealist universe of Salvador Dalí to Auckland's Spark Arena, staged with the official support of the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation. High-resolution projections, spatial sound, archival materials and carefully constructed visual illusions immerse visitors in the artist's dreamlike imagery, philosophical obsessions and revolutionary creativity, a 360° passage through one of the twentieth century's most iconic minds. After premiering in Florence, the exhibition reached New Zealand for the first time in May 2022, its world-class digital staging adapted to the scale of a major arena. Melting clocks, distorted horizons and hallucinatory landscapes unfold across vast surfaces, dissolving the line between painting and space and letting audiences in Auckland step directly inside Dalí's imagination.
My contribution
As Project Manager, I handled the remote coordination and production supervision alongside the Crossmedia Group team, staying in close communication with Live Nation and the local Auckland organizers. I oversaw the adaptation of the original layout to Spark Arena, the delivery of content and on-site installation support, making sure the immersive narrative first developed with the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation was executed faithfully thousands of kilometres from where it was designed.
