The exhibition
Frida Kahlo: Emotion Exhibition brings the Mexican artist's art, life and ideas to life across 35 minutes of immersion inside the Cattedrale dell'Immagine, the historic Santo Stefano al Ponte in Florence. 360° projections carry the visitor through the chapters of her story, complemented by a kaleidoscopic Mirror Room, a VR experience on Meta Quest 2 headsets and an educational space set within the Crypt. Built around a written narrative arc rather than a simple gallery of images, the exhibition threads Frida's pain, passion and defiant identity into a continuous emotional journey. Developed in artistic collaboration with the studio Pixel Shapes, its motion graphics and immersive video turn iconic self-portraits and symbols into a powerful, enveloping visual language beneath the church's baroque architecture.

My contribution
As Exhibition Storyteller and Creative Director, I led the iconographic research and wrote the full narrative arc of the exhibition, defining the storytelling structure that guided the entire visual journey across each chapter of Frida's life and art. I produced all the coordinated image, graphic design and didactic content, from informational panels to educational sections, working in close creative collaboration with the studio Pixel Shapes, whose motion graphics and immersive video transformed the narrative into a powerful visual experience.
