The exhibition
Da Vinci Experience premiered in the deconsecrated 11th-century church of Santo Stefano al Ponte, the Cattedrale dell'Immagine in the heart of Florence, a space that already carried centuries of history before anything was projected onto its walls. The show celebrated Leonardo across science, engineering, art and invention, rebuilding his world from the ground up. Visitors moved through 360° projections with Dolby surround sound and video mapping, VR simulations, life-sized replicas of Da Vinci's flying machines and a 10D cinema. This was the Florence edition that launched the international tour, a format that would later travel to more than twenty cities worldwide and introduce audiences everywhere to an immersive way of meeting the Renaissance master.

My contribution
This was my first time working inside the full production cycle of an immersive exhibition. I handled scenographic and graphic setup, helped define the visual language, integrated the VR devices and supported the initial calibration of the projection system and the on-site preparation. Every project until then had taught me something in isolation; this one taught me how the pieces fit together, giving me a foundational understanding of how immersive formats are actually built.
