The exhibition
Inside Magritte transformed Milan's Fabbrica del Vapore, a former industrial complex, into one of the most technically ambitious immersive environments the team had built. More than 160 digitized works by René Magritte, from The Son of Man to The Lovers and The Treachery of Images, were projected across a 360° space using the Matrix X-Dimension® system and its 40-plus million pixels. Curated by Belgian art historian Julie Waseige, the exhibition paired a mirrored room with an Oculus VR experience that let visitors step inside Magritte's surreal landscapes and question, as the artist did, the line between image and reality. Soundscapes and interactive installations completed a full-scale journey into Surrealism, staged within the raw industrial architecture of the Fabbrica del Vapore in the heart of Milan.

My contribution
I co-managed the full execution as Project & Production Manager together with my colleague Giulia Raineri: coordinating local teams, supervising the installation of the multimedia systems and integrating every immersive technology within the Fabbrica del Vapore. Throughout the process we worked to maintain both the artistic and technical integrity of the show, carrying it from setup all the way through to opening night.
