The exhibition
Inside Magritte transforms Liège's La Boverie Museum into an enveloping dive into René Magritte's surrealism. More than 160 works reach the walls through HD projections, animations and a surround soundscape, alongside original pieces by the artist, The Son of Man, The Treachery of Images, The Lovers, while a mirror room and a VR area extend the dreamlike narrative into three dimensions across the museum's architecture. Staged in co-production with Tempora, this was the very first immersive art experience ever hosted within La Boverie's walls, drawing audiences from across Belgium and beyond. Working inside a venue of such cultural and symbolic weight demanded a level of institutional care that ordinary production spaces rarely require, framing Magritte's paradoxes within one of Wallonia's landmark cultural institutions.

My contribution
As Project & Production Manager, in co-production with Tempora, I began work months before the opening with site visits, technical planning and joint coordination with local curators to adapt the immersive format to La Boverie's specific architecture. On site, I focused on video-system coordination and the precise integration of every multimedia installation within the museum, a level of institutional attention that standard production environments rarely demand.
