The exhibition
In the baroque Basilica dello Spirito Santo on Via Toledo, Klimt Experience wrapped every surface, walls, ceiling, floor, freestanding panels and fourteen Corinthian columns, in Gustav Klimt's universe. A single nave 80 metres long rose beneath a dome more than 70 metres high, giving the video mapping an extraordinary sense of scale and turning the whole church into a single projection surface. Three experiential areas structured the visit: a full-scale video-mapping hall, a kaleidoscopic Mirror Room and a VR zone with eye-tracked Oculus headsets, set to a soundtrack of Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. The Naples edition coincided with the centennial of Klimt's death, staging his golden imagery inside one of the city's most striking sacred spaces on the busy Via Toledo.

My contribution
Together with a production colleague, I was jointly responsible for the entire production: coordinating local teams, defining the scenographic layout and building the technical infrastructure. I handled equipment procurement, logistics and transport, and oversaw the integration of the immersive multimedia within the basilica's complex architecture, one of the most demanding venues we had ever worked in.
