The exhibition

Klimt Experience arrived in Rome at the Sala delle Donne of the monumental San Giovanni Addolorata complex, following earlier editions in Florence, Milan and Caserta. Large-scale projections, VR installations and period-inspired costumes told the story of Gustav Klimt's life and the revolution of the Vienna Secession, from The Kiss to Judith and The Tree of Life. The show set his shimmering, gold-leaf imagery against the backdrop of early twentieth-century Vienna, tracing how radically his work broke with the art of its time. An institutional production backed by partners including MiBACT and Roma Capitale, it brought the immersive format into one of the capital's grand historic settings, blending music, projection and scenography across the hall to surround visitors in Klimt's world.

My contribution

This was my first full experience as Project Manager, across every phase, from pre-installation planning through on-site coordination during setup and dismantling. I was the point of reference for technical teams, venue staff, local organizers and installers, responsible for timeline, logistics and execution. Rome taught me what it actually means to lead a production rather than support one, and set the foundation for the leadership roles that followed.
