The exhibition
Klimt Experience made its Asian debut at the Hongqiao Art Center in Shanghai, bringing The Kiss, The Tree of Life and the world of the Vienna Secession to a prestigious Chinese cultural venue. Across 45 minutes, large-scale video projections, soundscapes and careful architectural integration wrapped visitors in seamless light, animation and sound, introducing a Chinese public to Gustav Klimt's golden imagery on a monumental scale. The entire pre-installation phase was planned remotely from Italy, using 3D models, floor plans, photographs and video, with no site visit before setup day. It was a different way of working, and it proved that the immersive format could cross borders intact and hold its impact for a new audience half a world away.

My contribution
This was my first international assignment as Project & Production Manager. I planned the whole pre-installation phase remotely, then on site I coordinated with the local Chinese team, adapted the layout to the venue's architecture and supervised the calibration of the immersive system, working across language and logistical barriers. Some projects teach you the job; this one taught me that the job has no borders, a milestone in scaling production internationally.
