The exhibition
Part of the international tour marking the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's death, Da Vinci Experience reached Bogotá inside the Teatro Cassia, a repurposed church in the heart of the Colombian capital. The exhibition drew more than 100,000 visitors in just forty days. A 45-metre-wide projection area driven by twelve laser projectors wrapped the space in Leonardo's art and studies, while a VR zone with eight headsets and life-size replicas of his machines brought his inventions into three dimensions. Adapting a 360° immersive format to the geometry and constraints of a former church turned the venue itself into part of the experience, staged with the support of Enel Colombia and the Italian Embassy in Bogotá.

My contribution
I was fully in charge of production in Bogotá. I oversaw the adaptation of the setup to a converted church, working through its architectural challenges and tight schedules while coordinating the local teams. I also managed all communication with the Italian diplomatic institutions and Enel Colombia. Running a streamlined tour workflow, I made sure the immersive systems, projections and VR met the standards established across the wider Latin American tour.
