The exhibition
Da Vinci Experience brought the mind of Leonardo to the Museu das Culturas Brasileiras in São Paulo's Ibirapuera park, the Brazilian finale of a Latin American tour marking the 500th anniversary of the artist's death. Launched on 25 January 2020, the city's own 466th anniversary, it was offered as a gift to the citizens of São Paulo, presented under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Embassy and Consulate in São Paulo. The exhibition unfolded across four immersive sections: the Sala das Máquinas with life-sized replicas of Leonardo's inventions, an interactive area where visitors stepped inside his artworks, a virtual-reality zone exploring his mechanical visions, and a 360° projection space wrapped in Dolby Surround sound. A dedicated section developed with IED São Paulo examined circular economy and sustainable design through repurposed electrical materials from Enel Brasil.

My contribution
As the sole on-site Production Director, I owned every stage of the São Paulo edition. Months of pre-production came first: international logistics, equipment coordination, venue analysis and direct communication with Enel Brasil, the Italian institutions and local partner Base7 Produções Culturais. On site, I supervised the full installation, adapted the immersive format to the venue's spatial and technical constraints and managed all relations with the Brazilian teams, closing a tour that, after Lima, Santiago and Bogotá, had taken me across an entire continent.
